Last week Chris Brown tweeted about how he felt that he had been treated unfairly in comparison to Charlie Sheen. He expressed this sentiment after flipping out in The Today Show’s dressing room, because he was questioned about beating up Rihanna. Rosie O’Donnell felt that there was a racial component to how the public and media were treating Brown in comparison to their treatment of Sheen. (I know you’re thinking, “Why is Mel Gibson’s picture there?” I’ll get to him later.)
I want you to know from the start that I’m not about to defend Chris Brown or Charlie Sheen, they’re both @$$holes with a capitol A. Initially I wasn’t even going to write about this because it has been all over the net, TV, radio etc., but there were some points I still wanted to explore and discuss.
Actually, Charlie Sheen is Latino/Hispanic, originally Carlos Estevez. Although I do not doubt that Sheen’s Anglo appearance does help him escape the “scary brown people” label, it’s just not that simple. For example James Brown beat his wife, and Mike Tyson was convicted of raping a woman; both made comebacks.
Chris beat up Rihanna who is super-famous, while Charlie beat up less famous women and hookers. Therefore people are angrier with Chris.
Yeah, because only super-famous women matter. If your record is not going double platinum who cares if someone beats your face in? Right? [/sarcasm] This part has some truth to it, but that’s because people suck. It is a sad fact that in many cases people feel that the lives of the rich and famous are more precious than, the lives of commoners.
Chris is not remorseful!
How exactly has Charlie been remorseful? So far all we know is that he’s a “bitchin rock star from Mars with tiger blood and Adonis DNA.” I seemed to have missed the apology to the women he has terrorized in his crack-head ramblings. Yes, he is a crack-head. He even has said that most people cannot handle crack the way he can. Not coke, he said CRACK! That makes him A. CRACK. HEAD.
2 & ½ Men is a really good show, and Charlie made some movies in the 80’s & 90’s
Roman Polanski directed 30 movies, but he’s still a child rapist.

They have both been convicted. They are both guilty, Sheen just has 18 more years of woman beating experience than Brown. My question isn’t, “Why is the media so hard on Chris Brown?”, but rather “Why the hell are they so easy on Charlie Sheen?” Also ”Why do women keep going out with Charlie Sheen?”
I propose that we lock Chris Brown, Charlie Sheen and Mel Gibson (Another woman beater, although she wasn't famous so it doesn't count. Right? [more sarcasm!] See, I told you I’d work him into here!) in a Big Brother style house with Dr. (my name should be PhD Phil, because I lost my license to practice medicine years ago) Phil and Dr. Drew (I have so many TV shows, I can’t remember what my family looks like, but I assure you they are happy) Pinsky. This would kill 3 birds with one stone. They still get to be on TV and thus feed their famewhoredom, they will no longer be a danger to women, and they will either kill each other or themselves by the time Dr. Phil and Dr. Drew get through with them.
